55 International Students Apply for Admission at University of Allahabad

Allahabad (Prayagraj), July 24:
The University of Allahabad continues to attract attention on the global stage. This year, 55 international students from various countries have shown interest in taking admission to different courses offered by the university.
Out of these 55 students, 26 have already confirmed their admission, marking a positive step toward increasing global diversity on campus.
These students are applying for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. They come from countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Sri Lanka, among others.
University officials say that the rise in foreign student interest shows that Allahabad University is becoming more visible and trusted at the international level. The university has been working to improve its academic standards, research output, and student facilities in recent years, which may be one reason for the increased interest from abroad.
A senior official from the International Students Office said,
“We are happy to see more international students showing interest in our university. Our goal is to provide them with quality education and a welcoming environment.”
The university is also planning to introduce more support services for foreign students, such as orientation sessions, language support, and cultural exchange programs.
With this growing international presence, the University of Allahabad is taking strong steps toward becoming a global center of learning and academic excellence.
